Hi there! My name is Christina and I run Purrfectly Paws and Whiskers. 

Animals have always been a huge part of my life and I always thought it would be great to look after and be around animals as a career, which led me to pursue an animal management diploma where I grew up in Denmark. Currently I work at London Zoo as a senior zoo keeper, but I have had the pleasure to have worked in several different zoos over the past 15+ years and I am grateful to have had amazing opportunities caring for some incredible individuals from a diverse range of species. Years of experience with animals, has enabled me the ability to tune into the character of the individual, whether he or she is timid, bold, or curious and I can adapt to their energy to let them be at ease around me.

I am passionate about animals of all species; however, I adore the domestic cat immensely and I find it to be a privilege caring for these individuals whilst their owner is away. Animal welfare is something I value highly and with a trained eye I have the ability to identify potential concerns by a change in behaviour with subtilty. Furthermore, it is my aim that you are able to relax while you are away knowing your cat is well looked after and that when you return home you will be greeted by a happy and relaxed cat.

 

As standard I will keep you updated daily on your cat’s well-being and activities while you are away via WhatsApp, sending photos and videos so that you may rest easy knowing your cat(s) is doing okay.

Should your cat require any special accomodations please make sure to let me know in advance, I am well trained and can even adminsister medical injections if required.
