This contract is for the purpose between Purrfectly Paws and Whiskers and the pet owner. The terms and conditions are agreed between both parties and are listed as follows below:

 

1. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENT

• Cash and Bank Transfer payments are accepted.

 

• For bank transfers deposits is 50% for the full duration, which is paid in to secure the booking. Owner can then choose to pay the remaining 50% the day before departure or up to 24 hours upon returning from the journey.

 

• For any cash payments will be paid in full for the complete duration of pet sits and left in a visible place for the pet sitter on the first visit.

 

• In case the pet owner decides to lengthen their trip, they must contact pet sitter minimum of 12 hours in advance prior to the last pet visit. Owner agrees to pay any additional fees occurred up to 24 hours upon their return.

 

• In case pet owner returns early they must contact pet sitter minimum of 12 hours prior to cancelling future visits in order for the remaining fees to be reimbursed.

 

• If for any reason the pet sitter has to cancel the agreement, all fees that has been paid will be reimbursed. In addition, pet sitter is not in any way liable for the pet owner having to make other arrangements regarding pet care.

                   

2. DURING PET/HOUSE SITTING PERIOD AND DOG WALKING

• While the pet sitter will make every attempt to provide the animal(s) with optimal care and welfare, the pet sitter cannot be held responsible or liable under any circumstance for any accident, injury, disease or death to the animal(s) while the animal(s) is in the care of the pet sitter.

 

• Pet Sitter will not be liable for any injury, disappearance, death, or fines of any pet with unsupervised access to the outdoors. Pet sitter accepts no responsibilities for security of the properties or loss if other individuals have access to the home during the duration of this agreement. Pet owner is to notify pet sitter if anyone else has keys or access to pet owner’s property or other belonging other than pet sitter throughout the time the pet sitter is caring for pet owner’s home and pet(s).

 

• Pet sitter is not liable for pets that are left outside or may escape when pet sitter is not in the facilities of the home or properties of the pet(s).

 

• For house sitting services, the pet owner agrees to provide power, water, and heating for the duration of the stay.

 

• Pet sitter cannot be held responsible for any damage to pet owner’s property, or that of others which may be caused by the pet owner’s pets during the period undertaken by the pet sitter.

 

• Pet Sitter cannot be held liable for any damage done by pet to either the interior or exterior of property when pet sitter is not present.

 

• Pet Sitter is not responsible for damage incurred by Pet escaping because of a faulty leash/collar or a collar that is not properly fitting.

 

• It is the responsibility for the pet owner to supply with appropriate food and any medication the pet(s) requires while in the care of the pet sitter. In case of lack by any food or medication pet sitter will acquire either the exact or as close to what is required for the animal(s). The expanses hereby be covered by the pet owner up to 24 hours upon their return from their journey.

 

• This agreement is valid for all future visits until a new agreement is signed. Pet sitter reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time, at its sole discretion.

 

• The pet owner acknowledges that the pet sitter may be responsible for multiple animals at any one time during the same time your pet is under the care of Purrfectly Pasw and Whiskers.

 

• During all responsibilities, pet visits will only be undertaken by Purrfectly Paws and Whiskers unless prearranged with pet owner.

 

• Prior handing over the responsibilities to the pet sitter please ensure all details and instructions on care of your pet(s) and property (if house sitting) have been given in writing. No responsible will be taken due to lack or insufficient instructions in writing have been provided in advance.

                   

3. EMERGENCIES

• In case of a medical emergency arises for your pet, the pet sitter will make every effort to contact the pet owner but if time is of the essence Owner authorizes Pet Sitter to seek medical services at the Veterinary Clinic your pet is registered with and the owner has provided with the details prior the booking to take place, unless other instructions are described. Pet owner agrees to compensate the pet sitter for all services taken place by veterinarian necessary during the pet owners’ absence.

 

• The pet owner is liable to obtain any necessary insurance for their animal while it is in the care of the Pet sitter.

 

• In the event of severe weather or natural disasters, the pet sitter will use their best judgment in caring for the pet. This will be communicated with the pet owner at the time of occurrence or as soon as possible thereafter.

 

• In case of a problem arises such as a burst pipe, flooding, earthquake, gas leak, fire, break in, animal destroying property boundaries such as fencings or other etc., pet sitter will make every effort in contacting pet owner asap and adhere to their instructions. If the pet owner cannot be reached for immediate action is necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the animal(s), the pet owner authorises pet sitter to make any repairs considered necessary by the pet sitter. The pet owner agrees to compensate the pet sitter for any expenses in order to repair of property even temporary and secure the safety of the animal(s). In addition, pet sitter cannot be held liable for any work done by other.

 

4. PRIVACY and CONFIDENTIALITY

• Due to the nature of business, it is required that Purrfectly Paws and Whisker to obtain some personal information to ensure and enabling to provide the best care for your pet, and your properties such as you property while you are away. Purrfectly Paws and Whiskers abide by the Data Protection Act.

 

• All Intellectual Property produced by Purrfectly Paws and Whiskers is copyrighted whether tangible or intangible.

 

5. CANCELLATIONS

• In the event of cancellation and this is given in writing to Purrfectly Paws and Whiskers 8 days prior for the booking to take place there will be no charge.

 

• If cancellation is given in writing between 7 days and 48 hours prior to the booking to take place, then a 25% of the total invoice will be charged.

 

• If cancellation is given in writing less than 48 hours prior to the booking you will be charged 50% or if bank transfer were made to secure booking no refund of deposit will be made.

 

• In the unlikely event that Purrfectly Paws and Whiskers is unable to honour your booking you will then receive a full of the payment you have made up to this point.
